DEFENDERS Vice President of Marketing in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana

Overview

The Vice President, Marketing is responsible and accountable for achieving annual revenue and profit goals in DEFENDERS Marketing. Drives demand‐generation and customer acquisition; leads marketing offer strategy and testing, identifies and establishes new growth channels. Oversees marketing channels to ensure programs are compliant and executed in a cost efficient, continuously‐improving manner.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers on all Marketing KPIs including volume, profit, MCPI, and inquiry‐to‐lead rate.

  • Leads channel teams (Digital, Mass, and Direct) to deliver Primary or better results.

  • Creates and leads marketing offer strategy to drive growth (Promotion, Price, and Product).

  • Partners with Finance and Vice President, Marketing Strategy & Analytics to improve return on channel marketing investments

  • Collaborates with Director, Marketing Services to deliver winning‐creatives that improve consumer response rates

  • Makes winning, innovation, and high standards of excellence a habit in Marketing so that we stay on process, minimize surprises and identify/deliver significant, new ideas to profitably grow DEFENDERS

  • Demonstrates “Servant Leadership” with integrity, humility, and passion

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred

Professional:

  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in demand‐generation and acquisition marketing.

  • Proven success in leading a large performance marketing team.

  • Experience in Direct‐to‐Consumer acquisition marketing is required. Home services experience is preferred.

  • Strength in data, metrics, and performance marketing is required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
