DEFENDERS Service Desk Technical Analyst in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana
This position supports installation, maintenance and testing of computer systems and peripherals within DEFENDERS established standards and guidelines; one-on-one consultancy to customers and network staff.
Assist staff with the installation, configuration, and usability of desktop computers, telephony equipment, and hardware peripherals.
Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
Works with the Senior Service Desk Technical Analyst, Business Support Team Lead, and Network Operations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from clients.
Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems.
Responsible for ordering and the on-going inventory management of stationary items to be used by all of the IT staff functions.
Provides on-call support after hours as assigned and required.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Education: Associate degree or relevant technical experience.
Exposure with Android and iOS devices
Exposure with Microsoft client operating systems.
Excellent problem solving abilities
Awareness of Active Directory and performing basic user management tasks
Experience with Office products suites and equivalent Outlook versions
Awareness of Microsoft patch management solutions
Awareness of Microsoft system management solutions
Interest in VoIP technologies
Interest in virtualization technologies
