DEFENDERS Marketing Compliance Manager in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana

Overview

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring that all creative, vendor, and partner submissions follow DEFENDERS marketing, legal and brand (internal and external) guidelines. Leads process improvements, identifies and communicates legal/compliance changes, ensures timelines are achieved, and maintains an organized database of submissions. Builds relationships around DEFENDERS Circle of Life to support Marketing compliance strategies.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as Marketing liason for legal and compliance related topics for internal and external partners to manage and optimze the workflow for all creative, vendor, and partner submissions from start to finish.

  • Review and markup for changes all Marketing/Business Partner creatives, advertisements, and scripts for federal rules and brand guidelines (internal and external) and work directly with key constiuents to ensure updates are made and proper approvals are achieved.

  • Obtain and examine all necessary vendor and partner paperwork to successfully onboard and launch new campaigns.

  • Maintain an up-to-date creative, vendor, and partner repository within Microsoft CRM for monthly audit purposes .

  • Build and develop relationships with internal Risk Management teams and ADT compliance team to proactively identify risks, solve problems, improve processes, and achieve goals based on Marketing strategy and timelines.

  • Work with internal Risk Management teams to coordinate reporting of and training on federal regulations, marketing guidelines, and company policies for creative and content agencies, business partners, and internal team members.

Qualifications

Background & Education:

Education: Bachelor's Degree, Marketing focus preferred.

Skills/Background : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Microsoft CRM experience a plus. Experience with print and digital marketing, paid search marketing, and/or email marketing preferred.

Minimum Years Experience :2-5 years business-related experience.

Physical Qualifications:

  • Physical presence in the office during work hours for impromptu meetings and access to information/data necessary for the position.

  • Must be able to sit without interruption for up to 2 hours. May be required to sit 6-8 hours per day.

  • Vision must be sufficient to read text and view a computer monitor for 6-8 hours per day.

  • Role involves 5% travel for call center visits and business partner on-site audits.
