DEFENDERS Manager of Digital Marketing in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana


Manage a team responsible for delivering financial results from paid digital acquisition channels. Responsible for creation and continual testing of digital acquisition marketing campaigns and researching new digital channels to find new opportunities for DEFENDERS.


  • Develop digital acquisition strategy to deliver on key business outcomes

  • Supervise team of specialists to implement campaigns across tactics including, but not limited to, SEM, Display, Retargeting, and Paid Social

  • Create and continually test digital acquisition marketing campaigns and techniques to deliver on key business outcomes (MCPI, PPI, Installs)

  • Serve as the main POC with vendors and key agency partners to deliver on desired outcomes

  • Research and evaluate new digital marketing channels, programs and tactics to fill a pipeline of new opportunities

  • Partner with colleagues in analytics, finance, sales, ops, and closely align with agency partners to deliver on desired outcomes

  • Measure and analyze performance and KPIs across marketing tactics and help identify testing plans and ongoing optimization of the conversion funnel

  • Develop testing calendar for digital acquisition channels with the goal of optimizing targeting, segementation, creative and serving dynamic content to maximize retention, upsell and winback strategies

  • Effectively demonstrate and instill the DEFENDERS culture while continuing to self-improve

  • Brings the game to the Director of Direct Marketing, particularly on matters of lead indicators in performance and prioritization of large opportunities

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools/programs including, but not limited to: Google products including Analytics, Adwords, Tag Manager, Display Network; Kenshoo, Facebook, Listrak


Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing preferred

Skills/Background: Experience working in a lead generation environment is a plus. Deep familiarity with Google Analytics and Google marketing product suite

Minimum Years Experience: 8 years of experience successfully managing digital acquisition marketing (SEM, PLA, Site, Display, Retargeting, Affiliates) in B2C, direct response environment. At least 2 of those years in a managerial or leadership position.
