DEFENDERS Direct Mail Marketing Manager in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana

Overview

Job Summary:

Responsible and accountable for achieving annual revenue goals in DEFENDERS Direct Mail acquisition channel. Drives demand‐generation and customer acquisition; identifies new Direct Mail partners, builds Direct Mail capabilities; leads Direct Mail acquisition team to ensure programs are compliant and executed in a cost‐efficient, continuously‐improving manner. Builds relationships around the DEFENDERS circle of life to support DEFENDERS Marketing growth strategies.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Creates and executes the Direct Mail acquisition strategy to deliver key business KPIs

  • Develops monthly and quarterly Direct Mail plans

  • Leads strategy with key Direct Mail vendors to achieve year over year growth

  • Leads production with internal teams and external vendors to ensure mail is on time every week

  • Brings the game to the Director of Direct Marketing, particularly on matters of lead indicators in performance and prioritizing of large opportunities

  • Partners with Analytics, Sales, Field teams, and agency partners to deliver on desired outcomes

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Background & Education:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing

Skills/Background: Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. SPSS or similar experience a plus.

Minimum Years Experience :5+ years Marketing and Direct Mail experience

Physical Qualifications:

  • Physical presence in the office during work hours for impromptu meetings and access to information/data necessary for the position.

  • Must be able to sit without interruption for up to 2 hours. May be required to sit 6‐8 hours per day.

  • Vision must be sufficient to read text and view a computer monitor for 6‐8 hours per day.
