DEFENDERS Talent Attraction Specialist in CINCINNATI, Ohio

Overview

MISSION OF THE TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST: This role is responsible for recruiting and placing qualified candidates that fit DEFENDERS’ core mission and values; serving internal hiring managers through finding the ideal candidates for the needs of DEFENDERS; serving as an ambassador to DEFENDERS through the interaction with external candidates and vendors.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Engage with hiring managers in determining recruitment roles and responsibilites

  • Conduct pro-active sourcing for candidates in open positions

  • Engage candidates in screening process and set up interviews

  • Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers

  • Promote DEFENDERS Employee Referral process

  • Actively lead candidates through the background check process

  • Qualify candidates through resume review

Qualifications

Background and Minimum Experience: The TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALISTwill have a background that includes:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum Experience – At least 1+ years recruiting experience in a corporate or third party staffing model

  • Professional Experience –

  • Knowledge and experience of MS Word and Excel required

  • Ability to analyze data and track performance metrics

Physical Qualifications: The TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALISTwill have physical qualifications that include:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time (6-8 hours per day).

  • Vision must be sufficient to view a computer monitor for 6-8 hours per day.
